Profits & Philanthropy: Two sides of the same coin
The Satav Patil Group looks at its employees as one big family and always cares for their wellbeing. While all need to be respected, a few require more love and care in the family. From the viewpoint of being a provider, the company has built a separate colony for its workfolk wherein free accommodation is provided to the employees and their families. Over 110 families of drivers and about 25 families of technicians currently house these cottages. All in all, over 150 families have set up their homes in these living quarters. Apart from this, a separate facility is provided for the bachelor staff to dwell in. All of these facilities are reverberation of extending the Satav Patil Family.
During the pandemic, the Founders of the Company provided groceries to their labour force, from their own pockets, thus ensuring no one slept empty stomach when the world had come to a standstill. During the lockdown period, even the salaries of the labourer’s were paid from the personal savings of the Founder Members. The Satav Patil Family literally fostered their blue-collar workforce during tough times.
The company’s social awareness cannot oversee the environmental damage that urbanization is causing continuously. As a part of trying to reduce the impact of these damages, the company has planted upto 500 trees to date. We do not intend to stop at this number and continue to do such plantations in the future.
